A rare vintage original large French opaline egg jewel box casket in all original condition . Having brilliant sleek clean alabaster/bone color opaline shaped like a perfectly balanced egg .Stylized filigree mounts.finely applied much like Baccarat opaline jewel boxes from. 1900 -1940’s mid century modern Era. Note the extra large size which is very unusual for French jewel boxes as you can see in my images that even a large banana can fit in the egg with the top closing all the way concealing the banana.
