Set of 4 Scandinavian Chairs
Produced in the 50’s.
Teak frame, seat covered with navy blue vinyl, decorated with upholstery nails.
Produced by Gemla Fabrikers, Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturer, founded in 1861.
In the 19th century, craftsmen from the Czech Republic came here to Diö, and with them in their luggage they had knowledge and experience in Thonet factories.
Thus, they became the first to introduce the technique of bending wood and the art of forming the so-called Wiener furniture in Sweden.
