French empire style mahogany display cabinet. Circa 1880 this excellent quality cabinet stands upon fluted tapered legs with a fluted frieze. The single glazed door featuring ormolu mounts flanked by turned and fluted columns with corinthian style capital. The top of the cabinet having a pretty pierced frieze. The interior of the cabinet having a mirrored back and shelves. Presented in good condition, size: height 70″ (178cm) width 34″ (86cm) depth 15″ (38cm).
