Vintage Design
The presented armchair is a unique example of Danish design from the 1960s and 1970s. A mid-century modern armchair. It is neat, wide, with long armrests, which ensures comfort and convenience. Made of wood with a beautiful, warm-brown color. A wide seat made of interwoven stripes of a special, durable fabric, complemented by a beige cushion. The backrest widening upwards, made of five rolled bars. This form of the backrest adds lightness and openwork to the armchair, while the interestingly shaped armrests diversify the simple form of the furniture.
The prototype for the presented armchair was probably the designs of Børge Mogensen – one of the most important Danish designers, who, thanks to his minimalist and functional designs, contributed to the creation of the timeless and world-renowned “Danish Modern” style.
