Collection of abstract Japanese calligraphy prints, possibly after Sofu Teshigahara, Japan, circa 1970s. These were from a collection that we purchased that had some other documented Teshigahara works. Many of the abstract expressionist artists such as Franz Kline are said to have taken inspiration from Japanese calligraphy. From left to right they measure 24″ H x 19″ W, 23″ H x 17.5″ W, and 24″ H x 18.75″ W.
