Vintage Design
Aluminum chair called “deRob” designed by Rob Hoogendijk (1953) and made by the company Hieselaar in Schoonhoven in 1998. Beautiful because of its simplicity, this stackable chair made of four parts folded aluminum. Rob Hoogendijk architect and furniture designer earned his spurs in architecture, especially in the design of bridges. In doing so he discovered the strength and beauty of aluminum. He designed this chair for the silver museum in Schoonhoven. Only 20 of these chairs were made. The condition is still very good with light signs of use. Dimensions: h x w x d = 80 x 56 x 47 cm and the seat height is 46 cm. Marked: deRob.
