Vary rare pair of 19th Century gilded caned wood carved Louis XVI French Barbola chairs.

These chairs came from France and are stunningly beautiful and a rare historic display of elegant French history. They have recently had new blue & natural linen seat cushions & seat pads added in a Rococo pattern to protect the pristine condition 200 year old cane seats.

The chairs are completely hand carved with little Barbola rosettes on the header of the chair and floral plaques are present on the legs of the chairs.
