This is a very decorative quite large cloisonné vase, made in Japan and dating to the 19th Century, Meiji period. The vase has a good round shape with a robust urn form. It has been well made of a bronze alloy with rich enamels of many different colours, set into a black ground. Flowers are the motif on this vase
