19th C. French Scent Bottle Velvet Presentation Caddy

Simply exquisite 19th century French velvet perfume bottle presentation box.

This timeworn olive-greenish velvet box opens to two cut glass scent bottles with a velvet and silk interior.

The beautiful vertical box stands on four little metal bun feet, has a pretty twisted metal handle to the top, brass hinges with pretty clasp to the front.

The box measures 4-1/2″ tall not including the handle by 4-1/8″ wide and 2-1/4″ deep. The bottles measure 3″ tall and have cut crystal faceted stoppers. Both bottles have chips to the neck and one stopper has a chip to the bottom. This does not detract from the beauty and rarity of this early French piece.
