Vintage Design
We love the “Bow Wood” chairs published by Steiner in the 1950s, both simple and ingenious. In a bent massive ash, the base is worked in one piece per side. A brass ring, the only attachment point, assemblies base and backrest, ensuring flexibility and large sitting comfort. This breathtaking and sculptural pair, also displays an absolutely superb water vinyl! You couldn’t dream better to energize the decoration of a kitchen or dining room. Nicely retro lines, a technique full of modernity and a foolproof ergonomics, this pair of “so fifties” colorful chairs charms us and amuses us!
The structure of the chair is in a bent massive ash, with a clear and golden shade. The seat is soft, covered with water green vinyl, in very good condition. A small metal badge is present under each chair, signed “Bow Wood”. Wilhelm von Bode drawn them in 1948. The chairs are stable, the structures are in very good condition. They are comfortable and have a unique and recognizable look.
38 to 45cm wide, 43cm deep, 45cm in a seat, 81.5cm total height.
